Legacy sports box leagues relied heavily on manual paper forms pinned to clubhouse noticeboards, fragmented WhatsApp group chats, static PDF standings emailed at month-end, and slow score submissions. Match scheduling created continuous friction, while rules disputes required manual intervention from club captains and tournament directors.

What We Engineered & Released

Blazeway engineered a modern Progressive Web App (PWA) powered by Sakhana multi-tenant architecture, replacing paper admin with an automated digital engine:

  • Automated Monthly Box Standings & Continuous Ladder Engine: Real-time match scoring automatically recalculates player positions, game differentials, and box promotion/relegation ladders instantly upon match submission.
  • In-App Direct & Group Chat: 1-click WhatsApp match coordination and direct in-app messaging allow players to schedule matches effortlessly.
  • Embedded Sakhana AI Referee: Trained on WSF International Rules (2024 singles rules: Lets, Strokes, Interference, Serves), providing instant rules resolution and arbitration during match disputes.
  • Self-Service Match Submission: Players log scores directly from mobile or desktop viewports with instant validation.

The Result & Live Impact

Paper forms and administrative overhead were completely eliminated. Match scores are captured live by players and pulled directly into central club reporting, giving executives real-time visibility into league progress.
